According to figures from the Department of Work and Pensions, Liverpool is the city that has had the most whiplash claims between March 2010 and March 2011.
Liverpool had 18,500 whiplash claims in that period which worked out as 22 per 100 residents. The next city with the most claims was Uxbridge in West London with 21 per 1000 and then Oldham in Manchester with 20 per 1000.
On the other end of the scale, cities with the least number of claims, Scotland topped the league. A whopping 9 out of 10 cities with the least whiplash claims were Scottish cities. (Read more…)
