An Essex waitress has successfully been awarded personal injury compensation, after slipping on a wet floor and fracturing her pelvis.
The 26 year old woman from Basildon, who has asked not to be named, was working for the Out Back Steakhouse in Yardly Business Park, working her notice as she had a new role in human resources.
At the end of her shift, she slipped on some spilt water near the dishwasher and fractured her pelvis in two places, and leaving her unable to walk unaided for five weeks. She suffered extreme pain for the next couple of months and intermittent pain afterwards. (Read more…)
