£8m Compensation Payout
A 27 year old man who was paralysed after a car accident in which he was a passenger has been awarded £8.35m.
The young man who has been paralysed from the neck down was awarded the settlement after seeking £10m compensation. He accepted a 20% reduced settlement due to the fact that he wasn't wearing a seat belt.

After the accident he had to undergo several years of specialist care as well as treatment for his injuries.
The young man and his wife are planning to use the money to provide for their soon to be born child. He said. "I will be able to give some of the things that have been taken away from me to somebody else."
